Christine Scott- Hi my name is Chris and I am a  Level 5 qualified childcare practitioner. I have been working  in childcare for  the 20 years, originally starting as a childminder. Since 2003 I have owned Chestnuts Childcare. Originally working as a childminder and then growing my business to the setting it is now. Over the years, I have gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge and has completed over 400 other childcare courses. I enjoy the challenges children offer and is always willing to support parent/carers to ensure children get the best possible start in life. I am a parent myself, and in my spare time love travelling.

Kyla-Hi My name is Kyla, I am Level 3 practitioner and I work in the  Fish 1 room with children ages 2-3 years. as well as being the setting's Deputy Manager. I have been working within the childcare setting for more than 10 years now and have gained a lot of experience working within this age group. I joined the Chestnuts Childcare team in 2019.I enjoy being outside and looking at the outside environment with the children and doing listening activities to see what we can hear. In my spare time I enjoy going to see my family and my two nieces, and doing lots of cooking and baking for everyone to enjoy.

Rhiannan- Hi I'm Rhiannan (but most of the children call me Rhi Rhi.)
I am a level 4 qualified practitioner who is based in the Fun Loving Fishes room and I am also support staff in the Busy Bees Room. My special interests are supporting children with S.E.N and I have gained lots of experience and knowledge in this area. I also have hands on knowledge of being a parent through raising my two girls who are now 12 and 9 years of age, so I'm very much aware how difficult it can be leaving your babies in someone else's care.I qualified to level 3 in 2004 and have worked in 2 other nurseries before coming to work at Chestnuts in 2013, working as deputy manager and then manager, where I gained my Level 4 qualification, after a years break from work I returned to the Chestnuts family as a part time child carer and I love looking after your little ones, this job is fulfilling and so rewarding to see the children we care for grow into little people.

Amy-Hello, I’m Amy and I am the room leader in our Little Tigers room. I have worked at Chestnuts for 3 years now and I have also achieved my Level 4 in childcare and management while I have been there. I started in our Busy Bee room and have moved into the the Little Tigers room where I have been for the last two years. In the Little Tigers room we love doing messy and creative play and going outside in all weathers. In my spare time I enjoy going out with friends , seeing family , going shopping , walks and bike rides when the weathers nice. I also enjoy going on holidays aboard and in the UK.

Charlotte - Hello my name is Charlotte, I am a level 3 childcare practitioner who is based in the Fishes one room. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends in many different ways , I have friends all over the world and one day I would love to travel the world to visit them!

Richard-Hi, I'm Rich. I have been working at Chestnuts for 5 years. I am the caretaker and level 3 qualified practitioner. When I'm not at work you can find me running and spending time with my family.
I recently became a grandpa and love it. If the past year has taught me anything it is that making memories is important, and at Chestnuts we strive to to do this with the children and for the parents, however small they may be.

Courtney- Hi, I am Courtney and I am a Level 3 Childcare practitioner based in the Busy Bees Room.I have always been passionate about working with children and was able to begin my journey at the age of 17. I enjoy being outdoors and if i'm not out walking with nature you are likely to see me out and about in the local community with my little boy.
